Too Soon?

I know that there are back to school sales going on, that grocery and department stores have Halloween candy out for sale but you too Mother Nature?

I was driving from Bar Harbor to Southwest Harbor via the Eagle Lake Road today, July 17th when I passed by this tree! I had to turn around and make sure that I really did see red leaves!

July 17th!!!!! There are 68 days until the 1st day of Fall, September 23rd, 2018. I mean really! The temperatures are in the 80's during the day and we're lucky if the temperature drops below 60 at night so we can sleep!

Fall is my favorite time of the year, but couldn't we at least wait until Labor Day for the leaves to start turning?
