With wind gusts up to 70 miles per hour predicted for Coastal Maine on Monday morning, October 30th you just had to know that Thunder Hole in Acadia National Park would be thundering and booming with huge waves!

I desperately wanted to go and take photos but was unable to get there. Luckily Cyndi Johnstone took these pictures and graciously allowed us to post them on the website.

She reports there were about 30 people there. Please remember to be careful when in Acadia National Park in situations like this, and to follow all signage put out by the Acadia Park Rangers.
