Thornton’s 1st Collegiate Hit Is a Double [VIDEO]

Former MDI Trojan Madison Thornton made the most of her 1st collegiate at bat for the Thomas College Terriers on Monday, March 25th, stroking the pitch into centerfield for a stand-up double!

How special for Maddie to get her first hit with her Mom and Dad in attendance!

She would come around to score and Thomas won the 2nd game of the doubleheader on Monday, defeating New Rochelle 10-4. The Terriers are off to a great start in their Spring Florida trip, with a 7-3 record.

Thomas will play doubleheaders on Tuesday and Wednesday. They open their New England season on Tuesday, April 2nd with a home doubleheader against the University of New England
