Thanks to Those Working

Merry Christmas to everyone! While most of us are home celebrating Christmas, it's important to realize that there are lots of people working. There are police officers, firefighters, EMTs, dispatchers, correction workers, nurses and doctors all at work today, celebrating Christmas either later today or even possibly tomorrow. With the winter storm there will be lots of people plowing and public works staff will be out and about.

Hotels are staffed, some restaurants are open There are convenience store clerks working, and the airport is staffed as flights go in and out of Bangor International Airport and Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport.

So thank you to all those who are working today. I hope that when you celebrate Christmas, whether it be later today, or tomorrow, that you have a very Merry Christmas, and thank you for working today.
