I have been captivated by the funeral for President George Herbert Walker Bush, and Wednesday, as I was at my desk, listening to the funeral services. I thought the tributes by Senator Simpson, Prime Minister Mulroney, Jon Meacham and President Bush's son, President Geoge Bush (43) were heartfelt, funny and perfect!

Probably two photos caught my attention the most, in the days leading up to the funeral. First was the service dog, Sully, laying by the casket of President Bush.

I had forgotten that it was President Bush who had signed into law, The Americans with Disabilities Act. on July 26, 1990. My son Craig, who is 29 and is in a wheelchair, has been a beneficiary of this law. Because of this law he is able to live in Chicago on his own, take public transportation and get around, enter buildings without barriers and be a productive member of society, giving back as much as he has received. Without the Americans with Disabilities Act, this wouldn't be possible.
