Tardy Wins Emerging Elite 1 Mile

Congratulations to MDI High School's Tia Tardy who won the Emerging Elite 1 Mile Race at the New Balance Track and Field Center at The Armory in New York City on Saturday, March 11, 2017.

Tardy ran a sub 5 minute mile running a final time of 4:58.83. She was the fastest of all 3 heats!

Tardy is also running in the Elite 800 on Sunday, March 12th at 10:10 AM. Liam Higgins from MDI is running in the Freshman 400 Saturday afternoon at 4:45 PM.
