Suspension of Lodging in Bar Harbor Effective April 8 and FAQ’s

Bar Harbor Town Manager Cornell Knight issued the following memorandum regarding the suspension  of all occupancy of transient accommodations, vacation rentals and campgrounds for non-essential travel effective Wednesday, April 8 through Thursday, April 30, 2020. This suspension is specifically effective within the municipal boundaries of Bar Harbor for the time period noted.

Each day of rental and/or occupancy in violation of the Order shall be considered a separate violation.

The penalties set forth in Section 1-18 of the Town Code apply and a violation shall be punishable by fine of not more than $500.00 plus costs per violation
