Sumner Memorial High School Needs to Hear from 9th-12th Grade Parents

Sumner Memorial High School needs to hear from parents of rising 9th-12 graders ASAP. They need to know your plans for the 2020-21 school year.

These answers will help RSU 24 determine needs for the upcoming school year. Sumner Memorial High School's plan for this coming school year is to run a Hybrid Model where students will be participating in both on-site learning at Sumner 2 days a week and off-site learning remotely three days a week.

Safety precautions will be in place while on-site, which will align with the CDC and DOE recommendations, including social distancing and all-day mask wear. While off-site, students will be expected to follow attendance guidelines and participate in visual classes.

You will be asked to answer the following question for each student

Which learning experience will your student be committing to for the 1st semester of the 2020-2021 school year?

Hybrid learning experience (Following all guidelines from CDC/DOE including social distancing and all day face masks)
Full off-site virtual learning experience (Following attendance guidelines for scheduled virtual classes)
I will not be enrolling my student at SMHS for the 2020-2021 school year because he/she will be enrolling in a homeschool option or transferring to another school outside of the District.
