Sumner Boys Beat Shead 61-27 [STATS]
The Sumner Boys continued their winning ways on the road this winter, beating Shead in Eastport on Tuesday, January 17th 61-27
Shead led 14-4 at the end of the 1st Quarter and 29-13 at the end of the 1st Half. Sumner was up 40-21 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.
Sumner was led by Nolan Christiansen with 17 points while Logan Crowley had 10 points. Sumner was 1-8 from the free throw line. Dylan Piper, Nolan Christiansen, Logan Crowley and Angel Valencia each drained a 3-pointer.
For Shead, they were led by Jonathan Andrew with 12 points. Isaac Sullivan had 5 points and a 3-pointer. Shead was 2-4 from the free throw line.
Sumner is now 7-3 and travel on the road to Harrington to play the Narraguagus Knights on Friday, January 20th at 7:30 p.m.
Shead is 3-7 and will play at Jonesport-Beals on Wednesday, January 18th at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday we will then compile the nominees and it will be your turn to choose the winner! You can then cast your votes, and voting will close Thursday night at 11:59 p.m. We will then announce the winner online and on air on Friday each week!
