Strange Trail Next to the Moon Saturday Night

Driving home from Foxcroft Academy after the MDI -Foxcroft Academy doubleheader on Saturday night, February 3rd my attention was drawn to the moon which was bright and nearly full at 10 PM. But what was next to the moon made me pull over and stop!

These photos were taken  on Route 15 near Charleston, at 10 PM. It was -4 out. I was thinking maybe smoke, but I didn't see the trail moving, and when I pulled over and rolled down the window to take the picture I didn't smell smoke

So what do you think this was? Did you see anything like it Saturday night?
