Special Olympics Torch Run Friday June 9 [UPDATE]
UPDATE - Runners will not be running from Town Hill. The run will start at 9:30 a.m. at Key Bank and then head to Bangor and Orono.
Motorists should be advised that the annual Law Enforcement Special Olympics Torch Run will be taking place this Friday, June 9th.
Runner will depart from Ellsworth's Key Bank around 9:30 heading towards Bangor and ultimately up to the University of Maine.
They should be arriving at G&M Variety in Holden around 12:15 p.m. They will then make their way to downtown Bangor and then up Route 2 to the University of Maine.
The Special Olympics will be held at UMaine on Saturday and Sunday, June 10th and 11th.
