Shaw – Big East Player of the Week

A week after being named Big East Co-Player of the Week, MDI's Kelsey Shaw was named Big East Girl's Player of the Week for Week 6 by the Big East Coaches.

Shaw willed MDI to two victories, a 54-34 victory over Old Town on Tuesday, January 12th and a 46-44 victory over Orono on Friday, January 15th.  In the 2 games, Shaw averaged 21 points per game, 10.5 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists per game and 4.5 steals per game.

MDI, now 12-1 plays host to  Presque Isle at 6 PM on Friday, January 22nd and Caribou at 1 PM on Saturday, January 23rd. Both games will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA and WDEA Internet Radio.
