Friends in Action Community Lunches – January 2026

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for January 2026!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday, across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together, where it's warm and in an inviting setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends! Plus, you can find out more about Friends in Action and the programs that they offer!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action is asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016.

• Thursday January 1 - No lunch closed for New Year's Day
• Tuesday January 6 - Zuppa Toscana, Dinner Roll, Carrots, Peaches and Dessert
• Thursday, January 8 - Grilled Turkey Sandwich, Tomato Soup, Broccoli, Pears and Dessert
• Tuesday January 13 - Cheeseburger, Tater Tots, Salad, Apples and Dessert
• Thursday, January 15 - Flour Beef Tacos, Spanish Rice, Corn, Mandarin Oranges and Dessert
• Tuesday, January 20 - Pork Green Chili, Flour Tortillas, Refried Beas, Cauliflower, Cinnamon Applesauce and Dessert
• Thursday, January 22 - BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Sweet Potato Fries, Salad, Pineapple and Dessert
• Tuesday, January 27 - Teriyaki Chicken, Brown Rice, Broccoli, Peaches and Dessert
• Thursday, January 29 - Potato Soup, Dinner Roll, Mixed Veggies, Cinnamon Pears and Dessert
