Friends in Action Community Lunches – December 2025

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for December 2025!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday, across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together, where it's warm and in an inviting setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends! Plus, you can find out more about Friends in Action and the programs that they offer!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action is asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016.

• Tuesday, December 2 - Sawmill Gravy and Biscuits, Tater Tots, Grapes and Dessert
• Thursday, December 4 - Deviled Egg Croissant Sandwich, Peas, Pineapple and Dessert
• Tuesday, December 9 - Beef Stroganoff, Dinner Roll, Broccoli, Cinnamon Applesauce, Dessert
• Thursday, December 11 - Cajun Chicken Pasta, Vegetable Medley, Peaches, Dessert
• Tuesday, December 16 - Turkey Shepherd's Pie (Turkey Mashed Potatoes, Peas, Corn, Gravy) Dinner Roll, Tropical Fruit and Dessert
• Thursday, December 18 - Goulash, Garlic Biscuits, Corn, Banana, Dessert
• Tuesday, December 23 - Christmas Meal - Ham, Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Dinner Roll, Mandarin Oranges and Dessert
• Thursday, December 25 - Closed for Christmas - Merry Christmas
• Tuesday, December 30 - Cheese Pizza, Dinner Salad, Cinnamon Pears, Dessert
