Do you have a green thumb? Are you looking forward to planting this Spring? You are invited to the Ellsworth Public Library for their 3rd Annual Seed Swap on Saturday March 21st  from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

You're invited to bring seeds to exchange and take something new and unexpected home to your gardens.. Volunteers from the Ellsworth Garden Club , Native Gardens of Blue Hill and master gardeners will be on hand to help answer questions.

For the kids, they can attend the Sleepy Seeds Storytime from 10 to 11 a.m. Miss Jean and a special guest will talk about the magic of seeds and dream of gardens blooming in the summer sun. After the book reading there will be a flower seed paper craft!

And finally there will be a Friends Gardening Book Sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  You'll be able to shop hundreds of gently used fiction and nonfiction books, books for kids and teens, DVD's and puzzles! All items are for sale by donation, unless otherwise noted. Cash and Checks accepted only. Proceeds support library programs and services.

The Ellsworth Public Library is open Monday and Tuesday 9 to 5, Wednesday and Thursday 9 to 6, Friday 9 to 5 and Saturday 9-2. The Library is closed on Sunday.
