The fun starts on the Village Green at 4:30 p.m. with complimentary Hot Chocolate and Cookies on the Village Green. Santa will then arrive at 5 p.m., normally on a Bar Harbor Fire Truck and will read the story "Twas the Night Before Christmas" before leading the countdown to lighting the Christmas Tree!

Then everyone will head down to the MDI YMCA where children will be able to visit with Santa and enjoy crafts and activities by the Summer Festival of the Arts (SFOA), Bar Harbor Hannaford, the YMCA and the Jesup Memorial Library.

Parents and adults will want to take advantage of the many store's specials that will be open late!

And don't forget to purchase your Half Price Acadia National Park Pass, available only until the end of the month!
