Red Sox Win Streak Snapped Lose to Texas 8-2

The Boston Red Sox had their 6 game winning streak snapped on Wednesday night, losing the final game of the 3 game series to the Texas Rangers 8-2. The game was delayed a hour and a half because of rain before it started, and the game didn't get over until after midnight.

Doug Fister had his first subpar outing for the Red Sox. He lasted only 3.2 innings allowing 6 runs on 5 hits, 2 of which were home runs. He struck out 3 and walked 3.

The Red Sox only managed 3 hits all night. Mitch Moreland and Jackie Bradley Jr. each had a single and Xander Bogaerts had a home run, driving in the 2 runs for the Red Sox.
