The Boston Red Sox beat the Toronto Blue Jays Thursday night, 7-6 on a walk-off single by Rafael Devers in the bottom of the 9th to give the Red Sox their 4th victory of the season. The Red Sox came back from 5-0 and 6-5 deficits. It was the 1st walk-off victory of the season!

The Red Sox trailed early, 5-0 as Nathan Eovaldi allowed 5 runs in 6 innings. He struck out and walked 4, giving up 6 hits, but 2 of those were homers. Marcus Walden pitched thee 9th picking up the win, his 2nd of the season.

Devers ended up 2-4, with a double and 2 runs batted in. Mitch Moreland had a night, going 2-5 with a homer, his 5th of the season in the 7th inning and a RBI double in the 9th. Both hits tied the game for the Red Sox.

Boston is now 4-9 on the season, 6 games behind the 1st place Tampa Bay Rays.

The Red Sox open a 4 game series with the Baltimore Orioles on Friday night, April 12th. The Red Sox will send Eduardo Rodriguez to the mound, with the pregame starting at 6:10 and first pitch at 7:10 on AM 1370 WDEA.
