Red Sox to Play Tampa Bay Rays Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Boston Red Sox will take on the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday, March 7th at 1 p.m. with the game being broadcast on WDEA AM 1370.

Yesterday the Tigers beat the Red Sox 11-3, as Boston only managed 4 hits. Kristian Campbell who was playing centerfield, hit a home run driving in 2 runs.

Connelly Early made his 3rd appearance of the Spring and pitched 3.2 scoreless innings allowing just 2 hits and walking 1, while striking out 4.

Johan Oviedo is scheduled to start for the Red Sox on Saturday against the Rays. In his 2 previous appearances, he's pitched 4.2 innings allowing just 3 hits, and striking out 5 while walking 3.

Aroldis Champman is also scheduled to pitch. In his 2 previous appearances, he's pitched 1.2 innings allowing 2 hits, and striking out 4 while walking 1.
