The Boston Red Sox (1-3) will take on the Detroit Tigers (2-2) in a Spring Training Baseball Game on Thursday, February 27th at 1:05 p.m. The game will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA.

Yesterday the Red Sox lost to the Tampa Bay Rays 8-2. In the game Hunter Dobbins started and tossed 2.0 innings, allowing a hit, run and struck out 3. The Red Sox used 10 relievers including Aroldis Chapman (0.2 innings, with 1 strikeout and 2 walks) and Liam Hendriks (1.0 inning, 1 hit, 1 strikeout).

Jarren Duran went 2-3 with a double and run scored. Alex Bregman had 2 runs batted in, hitting a sacrifice fly and an RBI groundout.

Right handed pitcher Michael Fulmer is scheduled to pitch for Boston. He won the AL Rookie of the Year in 2016 while he was with the Tigers and was an All-Star for the Tigers in 2017.

The Red Sox are expected to send Quinn Priester, Michael Fulmer, Jacob Webb, Josh Winckowski and Isaiah Campbell in the game. Campbell will be making his 1st appearance of the Spring.

The Red Sox begin the Regular Season in 28 days when they will open the Season on March 27th at Texas against the Rangers.
