Red Sox to Take on the Twins Thursday Night March 20th at 6 p.m. on WDEA

If you don't have enough sports stimulation between the NCAA Basketball Tournament and Maine Hockey in the Hockey East semifinals tonight, the Boston Red Sox are taking on the Minnesota Twins on WDEA AM 1370 at 6 p.m.

Yesterday the Red Sox beat the Tigers 6-4. Richard Fitts started and allowed 3 runs over 4.0 innings, allowing 6 hits and walking 2 while striking out 1. 3 Red Sox relievers made scoreless appearances; Michael Fulmer, threw 2.0 innings, striking out 3 and allowing 1 hit. Justin Wilson threw 1.0 inning allowing a hit. Aroldis Chapman threw 1 inning, striking out the side.

At the plate, Jarren Duran hit a leadoff homer in the 1st inning and went 2-4. Cedanne Rafaela went 2-3, drinvg in 2 runs. Tristan Casas was 1-2 with an RBI and 2 walks.

Boston plans on using Sean Newcomb, Liam Hendriks, Arolodis Chapman and Justin Slaten tonight.

The Red Sox will take on Pittsburgh tomorrow night, at 6 p.m.

Boston begins the regular season in 7 days, on March 27th in Texas against the Rangers.
