The Red Sox lost to the Philadelphia Phillies 7-5 on Friday. Garrett Crochet started for the Red Sox and struck out 3 batters over 1.2 scoreless innings. He allowed a hit, and walked 3, throwing 41 pitches. Richard Fitts tossed 2.0 scoreless innings of relief allowing 2 hits while striking out 3 and throwing 26 pitches.

Roman Anthony drew 3 walks, scored a run and drove in a run. Abraham Toro hit a 2-run single in the 3rd inning.

The Red Sox plan on using Tanner Houck, Justin Slaten, Luis Guerrero, Aroldis Chapman, Justin Wilson and Cooper Criswell in the game. It will be Houck's, Slaten's and Criswell's 1st Spring Training appearance.

Boston will take on the New York Mets on Sunday March 2nd at 1:05 p.m.
