The Boston Red Sox take on the Kansas City Royals this afternoon, Saturday April 20, at Fenway Park at 1:10 PM after yesterday's game was postponed because of the manhunt for the terrorists.

The Red Sox will send righty Clay Buchholz to the mound. The 28-year-old took a no-hitter into the eighth inning on Sunday against the Rays, striking out a career-high 11 batters. Buchholz is 3-0 with 0.41 ERA, having allowed just 11 hits in 22 innings. Kansas City will counter with righty James Shields. Shields is 1-2 with a 3.43 ERA. In his last start, Shields pitched a two-hit complete game but lost to Toronto, 3-2. His only mistakes were issuing a walk followed by a home-run pitch to Jose Bautista. Shields threw 115 pitches with three walks and six strikeouts

The Boston Red Sox are expected to activate DH David Ortiz from the disabled list. Ortiz was on a rehab assignment in Pawtucket. The Red Sox are expected to option Jackie Bradley Jr. to Pawtucket to make room for Ortiz on the roster.

The Red Sox are hoping to play a doubleheader tomorrow, but need the permission of Major League Baseball and the Player's Association.
