The Red Sox defeated the Minnesota Twin yesterday, 8-4.. Tanner Houck made his 1st appearance of the Spring and went 3.0 innings allowing 3 hits and 2 runs. The Red Sox pitchers combined to hold the Twins scoreless over the final 6 innings, allowing 2 hits, 3 walks and 7 strikeouts.
- Aroldis Chapman - 1.0 inning, 2 walks, 2 strikeouts
- Justin Wilson - 1.0 innings, 2 strikeouts
- Justin Slaten - 1.0 inning, 1 hit, 2 runs, both unearned and 1 walk
- Cooper Criswell - 2.0 innings, 1 hits, 2 strikeouts
- Luis Guerrero - 1.0 inning, 1 strikeout.
Cedanne Rafaela went 3-3 at the plate with a double and drove in 3 runs. Trevor Story went 2-3 with a RBI boule. Connor Wong played in his 1st game of 2025 and homered in his 1st plate appearance. He finished 1-2.

The Red Sox plan to send Walker Buehler to the mound, to make his 1st appearance of the Spring. Also scheduled to pitch are Liam Hendriks, Greg Weissert, Brennan Bernardino, Zach Kelly and Isaiah Campbell.
Boston will open the Regular Season in 25 days when they take on the Texas Rangers in Texas on March 27th.
