Red Sox-Rays Thursday March 8th at 1PM on WDEA

Sure we are having a Northeaster but it's sunny in Florida, and the Boston Red Sox will take on the Tampa Bay Rays today, Thursday March 8th at 1PM and you can hear the game on AM 1370 WDEA.

The Boston Red Sox are scheduled to send Brian Johnson and Fernando Rodriguez to the mound. Johnson has appeared in 2 games, pitching 4 innings and hasn't allowed a run while allowing 2 hits. Rodriguez has appeared in 4 spring training games and is 1-0 with a 7.50 ERA

Tomorrow, Friday March 9th Chris Sale is scheduled to make his first start of the Spring against a major league team, against the Miami Marlins and then Saturday, David Price will make his first start against the Minnesota Twins. Both those games are at 1PM and will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA.

Yesterday the Red Sox dropped a pair of games, losing 2-1 to the Phillies and 8-1 to the Twins.  In the Twins game JD Martinez was 0-2 In the Phillies games Andrew Benintendi drove in the Red Sox run with a RBI single in the 6th inning.
