The 8-6-1 Boston Red Sox will take on the 7-8-1 Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday, March 11th at 1:05 p.m. on AM 1370 WDEA.

The Red Sox were off yesterday, enjoying their only off-day before ending Spring Training on March 25th.

On Sunday, March 9th the Red Sox beat the Atlanta Braves 7-3. In that game Richard Fitts started and allowed 1 run in 2.1 innings. He struck out 4 and walked 3, allowing 2 hits.

Trayce Thomposon hit his major league-leading 6th homer of the Spring and then Nate Eaton hit a homer as the Red Sox went back-to-back in the 5th inning. Trevor Story had a double, going 1-3. Marcelo Mayer was 1-1 and Rob Refsnyder was 1-3 with a RBI.

The Red Sox will send Lucas Giolito to the mound to start the game, in his 1st Spring Training appearance. The Red Sox will also use Matt Moore, Austin Adams, Luis Guerrero, Adam Ottavino and Bryan Mata.

Boston will take on Minnesota on Wednesday night, March 12th at a special 6:05 p.m. start time!
