Red Sox Play Miami Marlins Friday March 7th at 1:05 p.m.

The Boston Red Sox (6-5-1) will take on the Miami Marlins (3-6-3) today, Friday afternoon, March 7th at 1:05 p.m. on AM 1370 WDEA.

Yesterday the Red Sox fell to the Toronto Blue Jays 7-4. Cooper Criswell started for Boston and went 1.2 innings, allowing 5 hits and 4 runs, striking out and walking 2. Zack Kelly struck out 4 batters and allowed 1 hit over 1.2 scoreless innings.

At the plate Mikey Romero went 2-3 with a double and solo home run.

Nick Sogard reached base 3 times, scoring twice, going 2-3 with a walk. Carlos Navarez went 2-3 driving in 2 runs.

Walker Buehler will make his 2nd start of the Spring for the Red Sox today. On March 2nd he struck out 4 batters and allowed just 1 hit in 2.0 scoreless innings against the Mets.

The Red Sox will also send Luis Guerrero, Matt Moore, Garrett Whitlock, Justin Slaten and Adam Ottavino to the mound.

Boston will play Minnesota on Saturday, March 8th at 1 p.m.
