Red Sox – Mets Monday March 4th on WDEA

The Red Sox will send Eduardo Rodriguez, Brandon Workman, Denyi Reyes and Mike Shawaryn to the mound. This will be the 2nd start of the Spring for Rodriguez, he last pitched on February 27th, throwing 2 innings against the Orioles allowing 2 runs on 3 hits. This will be Workman's 3rd Spring appearance. He has thrown 2 scoreless innings striking out 5.

Sunday, March 3rd the Red Sox beat the Twins, 9-7. Boston erased a 3-2 deficit, scoring 7 runs in the 6th inning highlighted by a 3 run homer by Tony Renda, his 2nd of the season, and a 3 run double by C.J. Chatham.

Michael Chavis, ranked by Baseball America as the Red Sox' number 2 prospect hit his 4th homer of the season. He is tied for the most homers in the Spring with Baltimore's Chance Sisco and ranks 2nd in RBI's with 10, one behind Minnesota's Byron Buxton.
