Red Sox lose to Mariners 4-3 [VIDEO]

Garrett Crochet struggled for the 1st time this season and the Boston Red Sox lost to the Seattle Mariners 4-3 on Thursday to end the homestand.

Crochet threw 110 pitches in 5.0 innings. He allowed 5 hits and 4 runs, striking out 9 and walking 8.

Greg Weissert pitched the 6th inning allowing 2 hits and striking out 2. Liam Hendriks pitched the 7th inning allowing 1 hit, walking 3 and striking out 1. Luis Guerrero recalled prior to the game when the Red Sox optioned Josh Winckowski to Triple A Worcester pitched the final 2 innings, allowing 1 hit and striking out 1.

Alex Bregman was 2-3 with his 5th homer of the season. He drove in 2 runs.

Carlos Narvaez was 1-3 with his 2nd home run of the season.

Jarren Duran was 1-4 with a double, extending his hitting streak to 11 games.
