The Boston Red Sox lost their 2nd game in a row, for the first time all season, losing to Oakland 4-1 on Sunday afternoon.

David Price was cruising along when Khris Davis took Price deep for a 3 run home in the 8th inning. The game was tied at 1-1 at the time.

Price ended up with the loss, he's now 2-2 on the season. He went 7.2 innings allowing 9 hits while striking out 6 and walking 1.

After being no-hit Saturday, the Red Sox managed 6 hits off of 4 A's pitchers. Mitch Moreland was 2-4 and Christian Vazquez and Brock Holt each had a double.

The Red Sox are 17-4, 4.games ahead of 2nd place Toronto. The Red Sox and Blue Jays will open a 3 game series on Tuesday, April 24th in Toronto. Rick Porcello 4-0 will take the mound for the Red Sox on Tuesday. The pregame start at 6:20 with the 1st pitch at 7:07PM on Tuesday night.
