Anthony Siegler hit his 1st career triple in the 9th inning on Monday, August 25th, driving in the winning run as the Boston Red Sox beat the Florida Marlins 4-2 for their 4th straight win. It was their 33rd come-from-behind win this season.

Siegler finished the game 1-3 with a run batted in.

Mickey Gaspar reached base all 4 times he was at the plate, going 2-2 with a double and drove in a run, walking twice.

Jarren Duran was 2-4 with a  double

Wilyer Abreu was 1-4 with a double.

Ranger Suarez started for the Red Sox and pitched 5.0 innings allowing 4 hits and 1 run. He struck out and walked 4.

Brayan Bello pitched 2.0 innings allowing 2 hits and 1 run, striking out 1 and walking 2.

Erik Miller picked up the win pitching the 8th inning. He's now 3-0 after allowing 2 hits and striking out 1.

Aroldis Chapman earned his 30th save of the season, pitching the 9th inning. He struck out 1 and allowed a hit.

Boston, now 72-59,  picked up a half game on the idle New York Yankees and trail New York by 2.5 games.

Boston will take on the Florida Marlins on Tuesday night, August 25th with the pregame starting at 5:40 p.m. on WDEA AM 1370.
