The Boston Red Sox fell to the Chicago White Sox 7-2 on Friday night in Chicago. The win snapped the White Sox' 14-game losing streak.

Cooper Criswell started on the mound for the Red Sox and went 4.1 innings, allowing 5 hits and 4 runs. He struck out 2 and walked 1.

Jarren Duran stole home for the 2nd time this season. In one of the strangest plays you'll ever see, Duran grounded back to the pitcher, Garrett Crochet, who fielded the ball and threw low to 1st base. Duran, ran to 3rd as the ball went down the right field line. With Rob Refsnyder coming the the plate the White Sox threw over to 1st appealing the fact that Duran hadn't touched 1st base (which according to replays he hadn't!) The throw was errant and Duran broke for home as soon as Crochet stepped off the pitching rubber. The official scorer deemed it a stolen base!

Tyler O'Neill came out of the game in the 3rd inning with right knee discomfort and Rob Refsnyder moved from left to right field. The next ball was hit to Refsnyder who made an amazing catch!

Boston and Chicago will play the 3rd game of the 4-game series on Saturday afternoon. The pregame starts at 3:10 p.m. with the 1st pitch at 4:10 p.m. on AM 1370 WDEA.
