The Boston Red Sox' 3 game win streak was snapped Thursday night, May 2nd as Nicky Delmonico hit his 1st homer of the season, a 3 run walk-off shot off Ryan Brasier in the bottom of the 9th to give the White Sox the win, 6-4 in Chicago.

David Price threw 6.0 innings allowing 7 hits and 3 runs, striking out 5 and walking 2. Brian Workman and Matt Barnes pitched scoreless innings, before Brasier blew the save in the 9th. Rafael Devers make another error, his 9th of the season in the 9th inning.

The Red Sox banged out 8 hits with Mookie Betts, and JD Martinez each having 3 of them. Andrew Benintendi had 2 hits, including a solo homer in the top of the 3rd inning.

The Red Sox are now 14-18, 6.5 games out of 1st place behind the Tampa Bay Rays. Chris Sale will look for his 1st win of the season against his former team, when the Red Sox play the White Sox in the 2nd game of the 4 game series Friday night.
