The Boston Red Sox fell to the Kansas City Royals 6-2 Tuesday night, August 6th at Fenway Park. The Red Sox have now lost 9 out of their last 10 games at home.
Andrew Cashner lasted 5.1 innings allowing 7 hits and 6 runs. It was the 3rd time in his last 5 games for the Red Sox that he's allow more than 5 earned runs in a start and is 1-4. He struck out 4 and walked 2 in Tuesday night's game
The Red Sox bullpen was excellent Tuesday night, with Josh Taylor, Marcus Walden and Darwinzon Hernandez didn't allow a hit in 3.2 innings.
