Red Sox Fall to Astros 7-3

The Red Sox are in a virtual tie with the New York Yankees on Saturday morning, after the New York Yankees beat the Baltimore Orioles and the Boston Red Sox fell to the Houston Astros 7-3 on Friday night.

Mitch Moreland and JD Martinez hit back to back homers in the 4th inning, but that made the score 4-3 Astros. It was Martinez's 19th homer of the season.

Chris Sale allowed 4 runs in 6 innings. He gave up 6 hits striking out 6 and walking 1. Joe Kelly got roughed up, allowing 3 runs while getting just 1 batter out in the 8th inning as the Astros put the game away.
