Red Sox Can’t Survive Home Run Barrage Fall to Blue Jays 7-2 [VIDEO]

The Toronto Blue Jays treated Saturday's game with the Red Sox like batting practice, hitting 5 home runs, including 3 in the 5th inning, as the Red Sox fell to Toronto 7-2

Nick Pivetta allowed a season high 6 runs in 5.0 innings. He gave up 6 hits, and 6 runs while striking out 6 and walking 2. Prior to the game, the Red Sox hadn't allowed 1 or more homers in 46 consecutive games.

One bright spot for the Red Sox was Brandon Brennan, who pitched 3 scoreless innings in his Red Sox debut. He allowed 3 hits, walked 2 and struck out 1.
