Red Sox Blast 3 Homers In 11-3 Victory Over Nationals on July3rd

The Boston Red Sox went deep 3 times on Tuesday, July 3rd and clobbered the Washington Nationals on Tuesday July 3rd by a score of 11-3.

JD Martinez hit a 2 run homer in the top of the 9th and ended the night with 4 RBIs. He now leads the major leagues with 26 homers and 71 RBIs.

Eduardo Nunez hit a 3 run homer in the 2nd inning and Xander Bogaerts hit a 3 run homer in the 5th inning his 13th of the season.

Brandon Workman picked up his 1st win of the season, throwing a hitless 7th inning, striking out 1. Brian Johnson started the game and went 4.2 innings allowing just 2 runs on 8 hits. He struck out 2 and walked 2.
