Verdugo ended the night 3-5 with a double and his 6th career walk-off. Chris Sale was brilliant on the mound after 3 disappointing starts. He went 6.0 innings allowing 3 hits and 1 run. He struck out 11 and walked 2. His 11 strikeouts were the most since he had 12 on August 13, 2019 against Cleveland.
Josh Winckowski came on and pitched the 7th and 8th allowing a home run to Max Kepler.
