Red Sox Beat Twins 4-1

For the 3rd night in a row, Mitch Moreland hit a home run on his first at bat and Chris Sale pitched another gem. The Boston Red Sox ended up beating the Minnesota Twins 4-1 in the 1st game of the 4 game series on Monday, June 26th.

Sale went 6.1 innings allowing 4 hits, 1 run, while striking out 9 and walking 2 hits.  He is now 10-3 on the season.

Craig Kimbrel picked up his AL leading 21st save of the season.

Mookie Betts and Dustin Pedroia were each 2-4

Tzu-wei Lin who started at 3rd base picked up his first major league hit in his first major league at bat.
