A night after being embarrassed losing to the Rays 16-1, the Boston Red Sox rebounded beating Tampa Bay 7-4 as Alex Bregman went 5-5 driving in 4 runs.

Bregman finished the night with 2 home runs and a double. The homers were Bregman's 3rd and 4th of the season.

Every Red Sox player had at least 1 hit with the exception of Wilyer Abreu and Kristian Campbell who saw his on base streak stopped at 17 games.

Jarren Duran hit his 1st homer of the season, a 2-run shot in the 2nd inning.

Trevor Story was 2-5.

Rafael Devers was 1-5 with a double.

On the mound Walker Buehler picked up the win, going 5.0 innings and allowing 3 hits and 2 runs. He struck out and walked 3 and is now 2-1 on the season.

Justin Wilson pitched the 6th inning, striking out 2 and walking 1, allowing 1 hit.

Zack Kelly pitched 2.2 innings but couldn't close out the game, allowing 3 hits and 2 runs, striking out 4.

Aroldis Chapman came on and struck out the final batter of the game to earn his 4th save of the season.

Boston is now 9-10 in 3rd place in the AL East while Tampa Bay is 8-9 and in 4th place in the AL East. The 2 teams will play the final game of the 3-game series Wednesday night with the pregame starting at 6:05 p.m. and 1st pitch at 7:05 p.m. on AM 1370 WDEA.
