The win was Alex Cora's 500th career win as Red Sox manager.

James Paxton, making his 2nd start for the Red Sox went 6.0 innings allowing 5 hits and 2 runs. He struck out 4 and walked 1 to pick up the win.

The Red Sox pounded out 18 hits with every player having at least 1 hit.

Masataka Yoshida was 4-5 with a pair of doubles.

Jarren Duran was 1-3 with a double, his 35th of the season, driving in 3 runs.

Connor Wong had a pair of hits, with a double, driving in 2 runs. Rafael Devers was 2-4. Nick Sogard was 2-5, David Hamilton was 2-5 and Ceddanne Rafaela was 2-5

Romy Gonzaelez pinch-hitting hit a homer run, driving in 2 runs in the 7th inning.

Rafaela made an eye-popping catch in centerfield.
