The Boston Red Sox beat the Texas Rangers in Texas on Tuesday night, September 24th in a slugfest, winning 12-10

Eduardo Rodriguez won his 19th game of the season, and will go for his 20th on Sunday, September 29th, the final game of the season. It wasn't pretty, but he went 5 innings, allowing 11 hits and 7 runs. He struck out 6 and walked 3. Brandon Workman pitched the 9th for his 16th save of the season.

Rafael Devers had 2 hits, including his 51st double of the season and now is at 194 hits for the season, as he ties to reach 200.

Mookie Betts hit his 29th homer of the season  in the 2nd inning.Jackie Bradley Jr. had a double (his 29th) and Mitch Moreland hit his 17th double of the season
