Richard Bleir pitched the 7th, striking out 1. Chris Martin pitched the 8th and Kenley Jansen pitched the 9th inning, earning his 7th save.

Masataka Yoshida extended his hitting streak with a single and now has hit in 15 games in a row.

Jarren Duran continues to be a double-machine, hitting his 11th double of the season.

The game was delayed in the top of the 1st inning when a fan fell into the Boston bullpen from the bleachers and had to be transported off the field.
