Red Sox Bat Around in 8th Inning Beat White Sox 7-4 [VIDEO]

The Boston Red Sox batted around in the 8th inning, sending 10 batters to the plate, scoring 4 runs and beat the Chicago White Sox on Saturday, April 18th 7-4.

Marwin Gonzalez gave the Red Sox a 4-3 lead with a solo homer to begin the 8th inning. It as his 1st homer of the season.

Kike Hernandez was 4-5, scoring 2 runs and had a double and RBI. He gave the Red Sox a 3-2 lead with a 2-out RBI single in the 6th inning.

Xander Bogaerts was 4-5 with a double and drove in 2 runs. His 2-out 2-run double in the 8th inning extended Boston's lead to 7-3. After starting the season 1-12 in his first 3 games, he's now 20-39 (.519) with 6 doubles in his last 10 games.

Franchy Cordeiro threw out Yermin Merecedes at 2nd base to end the 5th inning and is his team leading 2nd outfield assist.
