There was some bad news out of the Red Sox Spring Training Camp on Thursday morning, when it was announced that starting pitcher David Price has been scratched from his scheduled start on Sunday, March 5th as a result of soreness in his pitching elbow/forearm.

Price has already undergone a MRI and the Red Sox are attempting to have him see Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion.

It was also announced this morning that Hanely Ramirez will not go to the World Baseball Classic  to play for the Dominican Republic. Ramirez has yet to play first base for the Red Sox this spring, because of soreness in his throwing shoulder.

The Boston Red Sox take on the Tampa Bay Rays Thursday afternoon at 1 PM on AM 1370 WDEA.
