Positive COVID Case at Tremont Consolidated School
A letter went out to the Tremont Consolidated School Community today, January 2nd, notifying them that there was a positive COVID-19 case associated with someone at the school.
Because of the fact that school hasn't been in session since the afternoon of December 22nd there are no close contacts on the school campus or buses. Any close contacts that occurred would be addressed by the Maine CDC as the Tremont Consolidated School Response Team only identifies close contacts that have occurred at the school.
With school set to resume on Monday, January 4th, please insure that you are following the return to school health checklist. Further if you had visitors or relatives visiting over the Christmas Holiday, or you left the State, you should follow this checklist
At 4 p.m. January 2nd Dr. Marc Gousse announced that all AOS 91 schools will go to remote learning beginning on January 4th for a minimum of 2 weeks.
