“Pissed” Off at Target

Looks like Target will be renaming some shoes sold on their website that may be alarming any Spanish-speaking customers. The store was selling at least four pairs of shoes entitled "Orina." The problem is that in Spanish, orina means urine! Target says it came up with the name for the shoes based on the Russian translation for the word, which means "peace" or "peaceful." It's also used as a woman's name. But then they became aware of the Spanish translation and Target spokesperson Jessica DeeDe said, "Realizing this name could be misinterpreted, we are taking steps to remove the name from the sandal."
