Part of Oak Street in Ellsworth to Be Closed Wednesday April 2nd

As you head out on your morning commute today, please be advised that part of Oak Street in Ellsworth will be closed on Wednesday morning, April 2nd.

The Ellsworth Highway Department will be replacing the storm drain basin on Oak Street between Lincoln and Park Streets to address ponding in the area.

Lane closure with alternating traffic will be in effect on Oak Street. The Ellsworth Highway Department asks drivers, if possible to use alternate routes and detour at the Upper Light (Main Street/Oak Street intersection) or the State Street/Oak Street intersection.

If you must travel in that area, please allow a little extra time, and be mindful of the flaggers and the workers in the road.
