Country music fans in Maine are in for a treat this summer as Parmalee has announced their upcoming concert at the Criterion Theatre in Bar Harbor. The concert is set to take place on Thursday, June 15 at 8 p.m.

Parmalee is comprised of siblings Matt Thomas and Scott Thomas, joined by their cousin Barry Knox and Josh McSwain, a lifelong friend. The band's style blends contemporary elements with classic components, delivering larger-than-life Pop hooks, southern storytelling, and the amplified attitude of Rock 'n' Roll. The lead vocalist, Matt Thomas, refers to it as "New Country.”

The band is making its return to Maine, as they performed at the 3rd annual Carnaval ME Winter Festival this past March, a festival celebrating Maine as a State for All Seasons in the Old Port.
