Paola and Phelps Pitch as Thomas Splits DH with Loras

The Thomas Terriers Baseball Team split a doubleheader with Loras College in Florida on Wednesday, March 23rd winning Game 1, 15-9, before losing Game 2 6-0. Thomas is now 2-4 on the season.

In the 1st Game, Thomas Paola pitched in his 1st collegiate game, entering the game in the 5th inning with Thomas up 11-8. Paola allowed 1 run, which was earned, allowing 2 hits and walking 2 as he faced 6 batters.  Jonathan Phelps played shortstop and was 0-2 at the plate.

In the 2nd Game, Jonathan  Phelps pitched a perfect 6th inning, not allowing any hits or runs.

Thomas College will play a doubleheader on Thursday, March 24th when they take on Grove City.
